Tip of 8/18

Fish:

You can ensure your aquarium remains clean and pretty by taking steps, such as using a scrubbing pad or magnetic aquarium cleaner (so that you do not have to put your hands in the water) to clean the inside walls, adding a water clarifier, or using a gravel vacuum, which is also known as a Siphon or Python. It is also recommonded to do about a 20% water change on your tank once a month (though more may need to be done depending on how dirty it gets, however also keep in mind that too many water changes can hurt your aquarium as well).

Tip of 8/14

Fish

Before placing a new fish into your aquarium, allow the bag your fish came in when you purchased it (with fish in it, of course) to float in the water of your tank for at least 15 minutes so that it can adjust to the temperature.
